Mater, his trusty sidekick comes long for the ride to help him prepare but then gets caught up in his own adventures. Lightning McQueen

Funnyman Owen Wilson lends his voice to Cars 2 leading car, Lightning McQueen. This four Piston Cup winner has come a long way from Radiator Springs. While he is on break his partner and best buddy Mater coaxes him to enter the World Grand Prix. While Lightning gets to explore and race on some of the toughest terrains around the world, he realizes that there is something more sinister going on beyond the race track and this time he has to do more than win a race, he has to save the world. Will Radiator Springs’ favorite celebrity car, which is seen sporting a new custom paint job and working headlights, be able to accomplish his mission?

Mater

Daniel Whitney a.k.a. Larry the Cable Guy is the voice of Radiator Spring’s grand storyteller and owner of Tow Mater Towing and Salvage. His friendship with Lightning McQueen is just as tight as it was in the first Cars. He persuades his best buddy to enter the World Grand Prix and comes along for the ride but when he gets mistaken for an American secret agent he enters a world full of intrigue and espionage. Mater is torn between supporting his best friend to win the World Grand Prix and having his own adventure among British spies and other bad guys.

Finn McMissile

Master British Spy Finn McMissile borrows the voice of talented and versatile Michael Caine. New to the Cars franchise, this car is outfitted with all the latest gizmos and gadgets like rear grappling hooks, missile launcher, holographic disguise emitter, and deployable magnetic explosives. Is Lightning McQueen in some kind of trouble that he needs the help of this British Spy or is there some other twisted plot that requires the services of such a seasoned professional?

Holly Shiftwell

Emily Mortimer voices British rookie Holly Shiftwell. This beautiful agent is armed with all types of spy equipment but while she is lending her technical expertise to Finn McMissile, she finds herself drawn towards Mater.

Francesco Bernoulli

John Turturro lends his voice to Formula Racer champion Francesco Bernoulli. His open wheels, youngster looks, and winning spirit make him a favorite among the ladies. This speedster is Light McQueen’s main rival and is pretty sure that he will win the World Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton

The swanky, sleek, and number 2 Grand Touring Sports champion is played by the actual British Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton. Lewis is also pretty confident about winning the World Grand Prix. Will his adept technical skills, natural speed, and cool help him beat Lightning McQueen?
